Foraging
in Tamar Valley
Foraging walk
What to expect:
Our foraging walks are more than an educational activity; they’re a true immersion in nature. Together we’ll explore the landscapes, discover edible and medicinal plants, learn local folklore and reconnect with rythms of the seasons.
We’ll meet in the morning and will have a short chat.
Walking at a gentle pace across the woodland we will identify edible greens, wildflowers that make the best herbal infusions and tasty shoots.
After the workshop you will leave equipped with the knowledge and skills of how to blend wildflower teas with herbs from your garden; you’ll also know how to make a medicinal tincture and how to preserve fresh herbs.
We will also have a light lunch cooked with foraged ingredients.
Please let us know your dietary requirements so we can prepare accordingly.
